How it all began…

Reddot was founded in 2003 by Don aka “The Boss”. What started out as a reinstatement contractor for many Food and Beverage outlets pivoted to providing a full suite logistics service. During his time as a reinstatement contractor, he saw many of his clients requiring services such a moving and storage which was then out of his job scope. He then thought to himself that if he could provide his client with a one-stop service, he would add more values to his customers. Gathering a few good men, Reddot started to specialize in relocation services.

“Isn’t Reddot Movers a relatively new company?” Asked at an interview with Liam Koh our Business Operation Manager..

Don chuckled as he replied: “Actually you might have seen us around when you engaged other moving companies”.

Initially, Reddot Movers did not market itself as a mover and was mainly a second team for other moving companies. However, Reddot as a second team was the base for building up the reputation and 5 star reviews of the up and coming moving companies in Singapore.

The Vision

So why Reddot Movers?

No doubts, there are a lot of advantages for just being a sub-contractor for other moving companies. There are no worries about the usual business concerns of  marketing cost, and jobs are almost guaranteed because of how reliable Reddot Movers are.

“With my own constant customer base, I have made a very good living to raise my kids. But it is time that Reddot stop living under the radar and unknown.” Don said. “I want to build a company that my children can be proud of, a household name that Singaporeans can know about”

Our Mission

Reddot Movers is build around providing a great customer experience and a good working culture. This is proven so far by our high customer retention and low worker turnover rate.  We are also exploring tech to enhance the whole ‘user experience’ and to engage a new generation of tech-savvy consumers.

Don noted that while some have attempted to disrupt the moving industry via tech, it could only achieve so little.

“End day, it’s all about providing a professional service.” Don remarked. “The convenience of technology may allow you to book on-demand services and streamline administrative processes. However for many, moving is quite a important event that requires long periods of planning. End day it’s the people who give good advice and carry your precious belongings that makes the difference… we are the difference.”
